Abstracts of Upcoming Lectures
Sunday, 18.10.2026 (19:00): Dr. Larion Ben-Avraham Ashkinazi – “Comet 3I/ATLAS and Other Small Bodies of the Solar System – Icy Visitors from Distant Worlds”
The lecture examines the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS and small bodies of the Solar System – asteroids, comets, and Kuiper Belt and Oort Cloud objects. Topics include the physical and chemical composition of icy bodies, orbital dynamics, observational methods, and the significance of interstellar visitors for understanding the evolution of planetary systems. Held within the “Disputes on Nature” series chaired by Prof. E. Arinshtein and Dr. M. Kozlov (lecture language: Russian).
Monday, 19.10.2026 (19:00): Dr. Mikhail Kozlov – “Optimizing the Polity: From Hierarchy to Hexarchy”
Given that dynamic socio-economic development requires broad intellectual decentralization facilitated by AI technologies, rigid vertical hierarchies are giving way to heterarchy. The presentation proposes a framework of state “rational paternalism” operating through a Hexarchy of six interconnected systems: the three traditional branches of government (legislative, executive, and judicial), a fourth system of direct democracy enabling horizontal integration of every citizen (“Creator”), a fifth system for adaptation to the rational order of nature (Natur Chochma) drawing on global civilizational experience, and a sixth system for optimal forecasting, planning, and decision-making – harmonized through AI and stabilized by social homeostasis.
