History

A chronology based on Institute materials and the registry.

  1. Late 1991

    The Centre for Assistance to Scientists and Inventors opened in Netanya.

  2. 1999

    The Centre was renamed the Institute for Integration and Professional Adaptation under the Netanya Municipality and was granted the status of a House of Scientists.

  3. 2012–2017

    Papers from the Institute were presented at conferences in Netanya and Ashdod, at the Houses of Scientists in Haifa and Rehovot, and at the Jerusalem House of Technology.

  4. 2014

    The collection The Creative Work of the Institute appeared in Netanya.

  5. 2020

    The Institute website, netanyascientific.com, and the launch of the YouTube seminar video library (@creativesoc, ~750 recordings over 5 years).

  6. 6 March 2025

    The New Israel Association of Sciences was registered as a non-profit association (amuta), No. 580813079.

  7. 10 September 2026

    By resolution of the Scientific Council, the 15th department – Department of Intelligent Information Technologies (with the Information Security Section, headed by Ilia Shulyak) – was established.

  8. 18 September 2026

    First peer-reviewed paper with NIAS affiliation, in Applied Sciences.

    The Scientific Council considers the application and informs you of its decision by email.
